Beach trip blog + pics !!

There's an island here in Brasil called Boipeba. I have spent endless vacations there with my family since i was a little kid (first time i went there i was only two months old). I don't really know why but we stopped those yearly trips a couple years ago, that's why I was so excited when i mom told me we were going to spend another weekend there after all of those years!! (ᗒ⩊ᗕ) 

Boipeba is a very touristy place, so i was scared that with the rise of it's popularity and therefore the rise on the number of tourists the island would be kind of ruined. Thankfully, it's still as beautiful and as fun as i remembered as when i was a kid! 

I was especifically worried about the coral reefs, since going snorkel diving there was my favorite activity. I was worried the corals would be all dead and there would be no fun creatures around, but i was so wrong!! When diving we found a bunch of cool stuff, beautiful shells (wich, of course, we did not take home), colorful fish, a sea hare, a beautiful kind of sea slug called a micromelo undatus and a massive really cool creature wich i tought was a lobster, but now i'm not sure.

This trip was also very special because i got to take my best friend with me!! (ᵔ◡ᵔ) They made the trip 100x more fun. It's a beautiful feeling being able to take a person who's really important for you to a place that's also really important.

Another cool thing: this island is full of dogs!! Most of them have owners, but because of the large canine population and the care the locals have for dogs, they all live freely, walking around the island, getting pets and swimming on the beaches and rivers. Each one has an unique colar, wich a lot of times are handmade and decorated with shells. Unfortunately i didn't take pics of that (-_-) but i did take pics of a dog called Nina who stayed with us during most os the trip.

Anyway, I am so happy to return with that family tradition!! i'm very excited too because we are returning next year :D
