HEY GUYZ! i added some more stuff! i actually added alot so far even tho its only been 24ish hourz!
first off, i unfortunately had to cut the dragging ice blox, they were buggyyyy :c BUT in return i've added something way cooler! slippery walls, these walls function like the triangle blocks from super mario world! you can run onto and UP the wall instead of walljumping on it!
next up i added "parry parkour", instead of jumping on platforms there are enemies that can fly and you need to parry them in a chain for a GIANT reward! (no spoilers!!!!!)
i've also added a hubworld! idk if i said this last time since there was one technically, but it didn't work and it was buggy so i fixed it up and now it's good!
though eventually, i'd like to take more mario inspiration and have a simple isometric world map you can run and jump around! it'd be sooo cool:3 and maybe add more exploration, that's what the base score attack platforming levels are missing imo
i've also conceptualized a move, a dash-slam! this works similarily to the wave dash from celeste, use your slam from a high height and dash right as you hit the floor, instead of slowing down to your top speed you gain a SHIT TON of speed from your y velocity!
i think this move may be too case dependant, can you guys tell me any ways you'd like to improve it? :D
i've finished the level ranking screen, now you can see what rank you got after you finish the level AND see it in the hub world!
final thing i've been working on... ziplines! for the forest-waterfall level i mentioend in the last post! Berry can grab onto a zipline and carry their speed built up from it to go LIGHT SPEEEED XD
