It's officially Christmas break! YIPEE YAY!
The two weeks before Christmas break is the worse because of the schoolwork. Last week I literally had my pre-oral defense, but it went well; A few revisions needed. I also accidentally stabbed my thumb with a safety pin. My friend and I bought 10 small ones to support our tops: My blouse was missing a few buttons and hers was revealing her chest. It was a stupid accident because as I was detangling—not sure if this is the right word to use—the safety pin, then my phone slipped from my hand, and I tried to catch it. Boom, the safety pin is sticking in my thumb DEEP.
After research week, we only have one week to catch up on lessons we had to finish. It was really boring and just full of lectures, quizzes, and homework.
However, one Tuesday morning, my friend and I went to the restroom. It was filled with people, and we had to wait. The last cubicle was empty, but a girl just entered so we hadĀ to wait. As my friend and I watched every cubicle door, we were joking around like "Oh, why don't you knock on that cubicle". I was getting impatient, so I started pushing every door in hopes that the red mark was just some malfunction on the door. My friend—she was following me—was whispering that I should push the door hard. We reached the last cubicle; my eyes fell on the color indicator on the door, and it was green. My mind immediately says they really need to replace them because lots of times, they're inaccurate even if the door was locked. Still, I pushed the door and oh my, it's empty.Ā
My friend was like "But someone just entered". We didn't see anyone leave but we did see someone enter. My eyes also never left the cubicle doors because I really needed to pee. I got creeped out, but I really had to go so I used it regardless of the feeling.Ā
I just convinced myself that we just didn't notice her leaving even if we both saw that she just entered.
