this world year we live in is terrible, if only we could go 20 years back.
back to a time where myspace was the mainstream, youtube was just coming out, everyone was blogging, listening to music, having fun.
the world is so dull now.
that's why i believe we should all collectively turn the clock behind, let's live life like it's 2005. back when we could play on the ps2, pop in a game of resident evil 4, and play to our hearts desires. listen to a cd of fall out boy, and drown the world out.
yes, i was not alive in 2005; i was born in 2009.
but that won't stop me from desiring the world of imac g3 (ik that was before y2k), motoarola razr, CDs, dvds, video games, old consoles, and radios that i use regularly (minus the imac g3 and flip phone, i don't have that yet)
the world died in 2015 and this is hell, so let's go back to the time we felt alive

Hate to be that guy, but the post-9/11 world and Afghanistan/Iraqi wars were hell. Yeah, there are massive issues right now with the USA falling into fascism. But it was just as bad back then. It was worse for trans folks, gay folks, and black and brown folks. While I understand the nostalgia, people were being sent overseas and killed. It wasn't better than now.
thank you for the info <3 i likely glamorize the time because of physical media being used and music was much nicer back then. i don't really take the history into account so i appreciate your input! :D

Of course! I really do empathize with the nostalgia though!! even though things may have been pretty bad, it was simpler, at least.
