ive been listening to my cds a lot more ever since i got a cd player that can actually play music out loud xD. before i was using a walkman, and i still do use it, but wearing my earbuds for too long gives me a headache ://
 but anyway! i wanted to share with you guys the CDs i own and talk about them a little bit, which ones are my favorites & whatnot :> for funsies! in a world that's dominated by streaming and the convenience of that, it's nice to be able to disconnect from it all and go back to physical media. not only does it just have better sound quality imo, it's just nice to be able to Own your music & support your fav bands directly, ykwim? especially when so many streaming services are beyond scummy when it comes to paying their artistsÂ
ANYWAY. IM RAMBLING.Â
1. Nothing & Nowhere - The Birthday Massacre
i got both my TBM CDs from their NY concert back in march! it was SO MUCH FUN. chibi, their lead singer, has CRAZYYY stage performance i love her so muchhhh. i was swooning lowkey hehehe :p celebrity crush core ! but yeah, this album is great. it's pretty short, only nine songs, and some of which appear on different albums as well (EX: over is also featured on imagica!). they're one of my favorite bands ever so being able to have this is a BLESSINGGGG heheheÂ
2. Pins and Needles - The Birthday Massacre
MY FAVORITE ALBUM FROM THEM next to walking with strangers of course :pppp so many good songs are on this, like sleepwalking and shallow grave. shallow grave ESPECIALLYYYYYÂ
3. The Moment - Framing Hanley
found this CD in a thrift store & i literally GASPED. ive been bumping this album nonstop since i was like 10 xD which is funny cuz i dont think i shouldve been listening to lollipop that young LMAOOOO BUT I DIGRESS. very good album, very good CD, one of my favs. i cry 90% of the time i hear built for sin :pÂ
4. All We Know is Falling - Paramore
OHHHH MY GODJFHGHFHFH this is another CD i found secondhand, but in a record shop i went to with a friend (hey milo!). one of the songs from this album, conspiracy, is playing on my profile rn actually!! u best BELIEVEEEE im belting out that song every time i hear it. same w the rest of the tracks on this album AHAHAHA
1. Add It Up - Violent FemmesÂ
ALSO found this one at a thrift shop, at the same time i found the framing hanley CD, actually! got really lucky that day. anyway, i had never listened to violent femmes before buying this CD but i heard about them a LOT, and i thought this would be a good way to get into them. a lot of rough stuff happened shortly after buying it and honestly the album helped me a lot w getting through it, so it holds a special place in my heart ^^ favorite song off of it is probably blister in the sunÂ
2. B is for B-Sides - Less Than Jake
SUCHHHHH A GOOD ALBUM IM OBSESSED. i love how the instrumental contrasts the lyrics in most songs, n for how depressing majority of them sound it still ends up being a pick-me-up. idk, something about singing about depression in a cheery way feels hopeful!!!!! maybe it's the relatability, who knows :p i really like the album cover for this one too, and the CD design is super cute (even tho u cant see it in the image. just trust!!!!) anywho, fav songs from this are prolly sleep it off and A.S.A.O.K :>Â
3. Young Lust: The Aerosmith Anthology - Aerosmith
don't remember where i got this from, but it's basically a compilation album. i don't listen to it very much so i don't have much to say, but aerosmith is fire :p they were popular for a reasonnnn!!!
4. The Battle of Los Angeles - Rage Against the Machine
LOVE LOVE LOVEEE RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE. this is another CD i dont really remember where i got from, i've had it since foreverrrrr. fun fact, this album was released on my birthday, nov. 2nd !! ...about seven years before i was born xD
1. The Open Door - EvanescenceÂ
OMFMFGHTHGJRR EVANESCENCE. EVANESCENCEEEEE. i love this album so much and im so happy i have it on CD. i remember listening to it for the first time and flipping through the lyric book with eyes of sparkling joy. fav song from this album HASSS to be sweet sacrifice, it's really fun to sing. snow white queen and cloud nine are veryyyy close favs tooÂ
2. Clear Hearts Grey Flowers - Jack Off JillÂ
recently jack off jill celebrated this albums 25th anniversary, and they rereleased pressings for CDs and vinyls. guess how much i copped this CD for. FIFTEEN DAMN BUCKS. AND ITS CRAZY BC I SEE PEOPLE SELLING IT ONLINE FOR A MADDDDD AMNT OF MONEY. i know damn well resellers were quaking in their boots HAHAHA. but anyway. love this album soooo so so so much. btw i recently found out poppy covered fear of dying!?!?!?!?!?!? HOW DID I NOT KNOW ABT THIS SOONER AAAAÂ
3. No Lunch - D GenerationÂ
so many good albums here. i actually had no idea who this band was when i bought this CD, i just grabbed it because the album art looked cool and i wanted something new to listen to :D and i do not regret it at ALLLLL, it's so good
4. Tree City Sessions - Dance Gavin Dance

AAAAAAAGuys idk if u know this but i Really Really Really Relkayy Like DGD. theyre so good. omfg. and i know them making andrew wells the new lead singer has been a bitttt controversial, but i personally LOVE his voice and what he brings to the band :> BUT ANYWAY. this was actually a live album! im pretty sure fans voted on the tracks to be featured in it, and a lot of the songs on it are essentially covers of their old music xDÂ
it's insane how controversial of a figure jonny craig (their og singer wayyy back in the day) is considering how GOOD OF A DAMN VOCALIST HE IS. IT MAKES ME MADDDD. like tillian's performance on the backwards pumpkin song will always blow me away, but jonny craigs vocals... UGHHHHH.
anyway yeah! that's about it for now. i have wayyyyy more CDs, but this would go on forever if i put more :p i'll probably make a part two to this! CHARA OUT !!!! XOXOXOXOÂ
