I wonder how many friendships could have been preserved if both sides had put themselves in each other’s place - or rather, if they had minimized the problem instead of letting the friendship be lost because of it

Most people sacrifice the concept of friendship just to avoid being seen as the one in the wrong , even though mistakes are inevitable in friendships, and holding onto them is what truly matters
So why do people become implusive when a problem occurs and focus on proving that they are right , instead of seeing the issue as threat to their friendship?
