Silly problem

So I bought a gift for my friend A , but I didn't have enough money left to buy a gift bag. However, I have an old, unused gift bag that I received when my friend X gave me a gift. I remember her saying she didn't like me giving away the gift bags she gives me, but I've had that bag for years. I'm torn between using it or not , and I also think I have another bag, but according to my memory, it's from my friend A ، If I put the gift in it, she'll notice it's hers , I'm confused 🗿

While I understand re-gifting is not nice, it's just a gift bag with no true like value. If it had been years back and unused why not give it a purpose? Recycling is important and I think its better if you recycle than just buy another bag because that person for some reason gets upset over gift-bags. I'd truly understand if it had been an actual gift, but it's just a bag. Do what you think is best, but I think its a tad bit dramatic of them. I had this friend who recycled bags and cards (like holiday ones birthdays etc) and use it in gifts and I wasen't at-all offended by it, I think its good to do so.
Maybe if you choose to use that bag and somehow they notice express the problem and its not to offend or regift something hopefully they'd understand.

Thank you so much for this comment, in the end I decided, I'll use friend A's bag ( that I'll put her gift in it which means she will get the bag she put my gift in last year again) because I know her , she's too chill and understanding and I'm sure she will find it funny, and about friend X bag I'll keep it because she's too sensitive about this ( and she always asks me about the smallest things cause she believes we need to take care of the small things that's full of memories) , and I understand her sensitive points 🫠 , anyway again, thank you for your comment ⚘️
