I'f you're interested in art and it being traditional I recommend you put the Ohuhu Sketchbook (pad) on you're Christmas list. Its inexpensive compared to there markers obviously, but also its the best sketchbook for your buck. Its bleed proof double sided (actually not fake advertising like other sketchbooks that claim there bleed proof). I recently asked for one cause I was impressed as its not often you'll see a actual bleed proof sketchbook.

Other things you could add is maybe merch from you favorite music artists like hoodies etc
art maybe scrapbooking stuff if that's your thing.
