First (and last) break during Interns

I'm doing an internship right now and I'm past the halfway mark. I'm gonna be having a long weekend cos Monday I took the day off. I told my supervisor like ages ago, but when the roster came out my name was still on that Monday so I was hella confused. Asked her about it like "Hey did my request not go through?" and she said "yea" (over text) so lowks I stayed confused for a week straight cus coincidentally she was on break the next few days.

Yesterday, when she got back, she was like "oh ya u're not here Monday." so the theory is she misread my text or smth. IDK. anyway, yeah. excited!!
