wanting to be a manga translator

uuuuuuuhhhhhh

in class we were in groups and we had to talk in japanese and I said that I wanted to be a manga translator and my teacher heard it, laughed and said that would be impossible (lol...haha...I felt so embarrassed) because of IA I know there isn't any hope left but I genuinely find fun to translate 

maybe I should just find another job related to japanese...haha....

PS : im majoring in japanese if anyone ask, we like learn the language, translate, history classes, grammar and so on....
