Made a bulletin about this a while ago, im deciding to make it a blog because i think i do want it to stay up after all! Rn im going to be heading home and getting straight to sleep.. im very tired
Im going to update things with the writing from my previous bulletin later, and keep updating it as I work!
Dec 11:
I got to the studio late, so I switched my plans around a bit to do a little less today.
I traced evey part left of the puppet onto my paper, and cut out the pieces that are already done!
Here's how she's looking (unconnected + upper body)

I'm really happy with it! The skin, fur, and metal textures ard all coming across I think!
Dec 7-8:
I inked up these three arm pieces. The ones with the tubing still need some lines in the tubes, but those should be quick details!

I also laid out quick values for this paw:

I'm noticing that the drawings are going faster (and better) when I give myself a short time frame to do values first. So I've started inking a piece within 20 minutes and trying not to go above that, and then I come back to them later to do further detail. This also prevents me from getting my paper too wet and damaging it which is an extra bonus.
