God I wish AI would just die out

I just hate the technology as a whole. I'm in university and I don't like using AI for assignments, but it's actually reached the point where my mom is yelling at me for NOT using it. Like sorry I don't want to lose the ability to think critically. My mom is a recently retired teacher, by the way.

I'm so god damn sick of seeing it becoming more and more normalized and infecting every part of society. It has some benefits and good uses, sure, but the negatives far outweigh them. Every creative industry is either going to die out entirely, or be so completely overhauled it's not even going to be the same job anymore.

I want to create things, and I want to do that for a living. I want to do stuff like acting, art, directing, writing, and those are all at risk of being replaced with AI. I already felt like life after becoming an adult is completely pointless, but at least I used to have hope that I could have a chance at a career that didn't make me want to hang myself.

I know OpenAI is close to bankruptcy, and I hope it happens. Sincerely. I hope that company burns to the ground. And I hope some extremist nutjob out there starts bombing AI data centers, because that's the only way I can think of that this fucking stupid technology will go away.
