My headcanons for BKDK :D

Katsuki:

Head-canons:

• Doesn’t like sweet foods cause he’s so uptight about his diet.

• Has been sneaking spicy stuff into Izuku’s food for years to secretly force Izuku to build up his spice tolerance.

• Easily jealous but refuses to admit it.

• He hates when people chew with their mouth open, sorta has misophonia.

• Slowly going deaf due to over usage of his quirk.

• Because he’s slowly going deaf, he has learned sign language as a back up.

• Knows multiple languages (First language is Japanese), can speak English, Spanish, and Japanese.

• Learned Spanish because his friend Sero’s first language is Spanish and wanted him to be able to speak comfortably.

• Loves cats, likes dogs too- but is much more of a cat person because he likes that cats are more aggressive and petty.

• He had a pet cat growing up, he named it “lord explosion murder” when he was 6. The cat was a really dumb looking orange cat, missing an eye, but Katsuki insisted he was super “bad ass” and extremely smart. (The cat ran into furniture and couldn’t land on its feet. But it was very affectionate and sweet.)

• He enjoys playing video games, but not competitive like you’d expect- His favorite game is Stardew Valley and his favorite Stardew character is Harvey.

• He loves coffee, but it can’t have a single drop of sugar or creamer in it. He insists black coffee is the only proper coffee.

• Enjoys herbal teas as he feels it helps calm him down.

• As a kid, he had one of those plushies that smelled of lavender and could be microwaved so it stayed warm. (His mother was fed up with his aggressiveness, so his father bought him the plushie. It was a raccoon.)

• He likes classical music like his dad does, but he prefers alternative rock and older 80s-90s style american music. Does like heavy metal, but it’s not his favorite.

• Can secretly do the screamo screaming

• He has a really good relationship with his dad, Masaru. Masaru is really gentle compared to Mitsuki and Katsuki, and has always been there to help calm Katsuki down.

• His relationship with his mom isn’t perfect, but they still do get along and care for each other.

• Has to wear reading glasses

• Has hearing aids

• Favorite meal: Spicy Udon (or just any overly spicy food.)

• Wears eyeliner. He puts on eyeliner when he’s in his hero costume, because he doesn’t like how his eyemask looks without it being filled in.

• Has a septum piercing, lobe piercing, and a helix piercing (twice)

• He likes showing up at Izuku’s classroom while Izuku is teaching, just sits in the front row of seats and stares. Doesn’t really listen to the lessons- just watches.

Hobbies: Plays drums, guitar, and sings, he loves working out, he loves watching horror movies, likes to doodle/draw on occasion, but it’s not his main hobby, also really enjoys cooking.

Izuku:

Head-canons:

• Loves sweets, his favorite breakfast is dorayaki, melon pans, or shokupan

• Favorite meal: Katsudon (will kill for ts)

• Had to wear glasses growing up, but bullies kept breaking them, so he got contacts.

• Super duper nerdy, has over 28 hero analysis books on different heroes.

• Absolutely loves dogs, cats, birds, or literally an animal you can think of. (His favorite is albino raccoons and squirrels.)

• Can sing and play piano + guitar but doesn’t really tell people about it.

• He loves drawing (used to make little comics in middle school.)

• Used to write hero fanfiction in middle school

• He likes all sorts of music, often considers his music taste “bipolar” because it’s so all over the place. He really enjoys the bands Big Thief, Pavement, Cheap Perfume and HALICALI. But he also really loves individual artists like Billie Eilish, Alex G, Laufey, Ado, and Mac Demarco.

• Has a huge collection of stuffed animals despite being an adult. His favorite is this squirrel plushie he’s had since he was 4.

• Had a pet hamster growing up, which somehow that hamster managed to live for 3 ½ years and didn’t die a weirdly horrifying death. His name was Maru (It means “round”, Izuku named him that cause he was really chunky.) He got the hamster initially when he was 13

• After his hamster died he got a ferret, he named it “John” cause he thought it was funny. The ferret is still alive to this day and lives with Izuku in his apartment.

• Izuku is incredibly oblivious, and was(is) completely unaware that Ochako had a crush on him in high school (And she still does.)

• Izuku gets really jealous, really easy. He was really upset when Katsuki and Eijiro became good friends so quickly, because he’s been trying to be Katsuki’s friend for over a decade.

• Izuku really loves coffee, he relies on it for long nights of grading papers. But he HATES black coffee, his coffee needs to be mostly creamer/sugar. Katsuki likes to make fun of him for drinking “creamer with a bit of coffee” whenever they get coffee together.

• He has a really good relationship with his mother. He does his best to take her on trips and do things with her as much as he can.

• His english is really really bad- he knows a few common words at most, and when messaging Rody (American friend) his text messages tend to look like “hi Rody are good :D” and “I eated yummy katsudon”. So despite being a mega ultra fan of All Might (Who, while he isn’t American, has spent a lot of his career in America) and himself spending a good while in America, his English is really shit. But Katsuki does his best to help teach him.

• He can speak a bit of Spanish as well, but it’s not great.

• Izuku wore braces in middle school.

• During middle school, he kept a secret “hero analysis” book, that in reality was a diary of him just shit talking Katsuki and the other bullies.

• Still (somehow) hasn’t gotten used to Katsuki calling him “Izuku” and literally melts/gets so so excited when Katsuki does call him Izuku.

• Full heartedly believes in ghosts.

• Afraid of the dark.

Hobbies: Writing, drawing, cooking (not great at it though), singing.
