Just played this great game called Off-Peak...actually to be honest I played it 3 (and a half) times to get all the achievements, only took me about an hour and a half to do.
First Cosmo D game I have played and I feel like I've been hooked in, definitely going to check his other stuff out.
Off-Peak is what I can only describe as a walk and talk kind of game, or rather walk and read. You have a simple objective and are kind of just set out into this world. When you have a game like this, you really have to have good dialogue and atmosphere or it kind of just isn't fun. Let me tell you, the dialogue and atmosphere were both turned up to 11. The dialogue wasn't anything insanely profound or anything but it all felt so immersive and real. Each character you ease dropped on or talk to actually feels concrete in some way as surreal as the game was. The whole time I was playing I was just enjoying sinking into this world and didn't want it to end, but by the time I got to the end I was satisfied and content with the snip-it I got of this place and the people in it and the conflicts going on within in. The character models and animations are what I would classify as pretty simple but it somehow added to my immersion instead of taking me out of it. The music (by Archie Pelago) was just so nice to listen to, it added so much to the game and I think without it, it wouldn't be as good, even with a different soundtrack.

I don't want to say too much about the game because I really just think you should go play it, it is free on Steam and will literally take you less than an hour, again I played it 3.5 times in 1.3 hours and my initial play through I was aggressively thorough.
It was really worth the play, really glad that my boyfriend recommended it to me, and I hope that you will play it too. I will link it here.
Just going to include a few screenshot from the game here too:
