[TT:] Okay so.. I recently got this NES skinned 3DS XL from Salvation Army (Thank you dad.), and it's sick as SHIT. but I want to add mods like HomeBrew, or something like that, and get Flipnote Studio(s) on there. Since everything on it is basically discontinued, unfortunately, that leaves the console with just four Pokemon games and no other apps except for apps that automatically come on the system.
While I know modding the system is basically against the rules of Nintendo, I don't tend to add any games that are pirated or anything, I just need Flipnote and a couple of songs I can just listen to.
So I need suggested links, apps, whatever, to mod the system. Anything that works and will not corrupt it in any way. I also need an actual genuine link for Flipnote as well. Not from random websites, or something that's just working well.

3ds.hacks.guide is your first stop . this site will hold your hand through the modding process .
hshop iz where 2 go if you want any gamez from the 3ds library . i reccomend uzing tha client made for use directly on the system, which you can install after the process of modding .
gamebrew haz a lot of homebrew archived in tha link provided, 4 utility and unofficial gamez n emulatorz n all that fun shtuff
oh i forgor themeplaza 4 custom themez after youve modded tha device

Quick follow-up, though. When you mention how it'll hold my hand thru the process, do you mean it'll just give me everything I need to know or just go down step by step?

i mean . itll do both . it gives you links to the files youll need, and gives you the step-by-step process for your 3ds' model and firmware version
