Astra Lost In Space : A review

Finally finished a half decent 1 season anime, to be honest i wasnt intending to write a review or anything when i originally started watching this, but ive gotten so sick of anime as of late. All the shows that string you along to try and get you to buy more of the light novels or manga/doujin, and look i get it, you should support the creators of the series you enjoy, but it gets tiring to have things so padded out and have to wait 2 years if your show gets lucky enough to get another season. Anyways hered why id suggest at least giving it a try.

Title: Astra Lost in Space

Episodes: 12

Sub/dub: English/dub was alright had some awkward moments but otherwise passable and still worth putting up with. I cant say anything on the Sub, but if you would prefer to avoid the possibility of mis-translation and or slightly better voice acting. I may suggest giving the sub a shot. I dont mean to say the dub is outright bad, just felt it could be a little... dry at times.

Story: A sci-fi high school field trip goes awry when a strange portal opens up shortly after being dropped off on what was supposed to be a charted camping trip off world. Thankfully the team finds a old space craft and makes course back to their home, plenty of interesting alien biology and botany on every planet.

It has some of the usual high school anime quirks here and there even a beach planet episode, but the story overall kept me hooked trying to figure out the mystery of who or what sucked the class to a different planet, and why was their a ship for them on the other end.

Overall if you need a show to kill time and keep your interest id highly suggest watching it.

I left out a lot due to not wanting to spoil anything.

It has a good ending and wraps up all neatly so no worry on being left on a huge cliff hanger.
