Frutiger aero is a technology-based design style from 2004-2013. This name comes from the combination of two key elements of this digital aesthetic: the frutiger font, designed by Adrian Frutiger (a swedish designer famous for his airport signals), and the Windows Aero graphical interface, which is tha graphic language of Microsoft (Windows vista/7) with transparencies and water effects that characterized this era. "Aero is a backronym for Authentic, Energetic, Reflective and Open. The specific term "frutiger aero" was coined by Sofi Lee (of the "consumer aesthetic researches institute") in 2017 to define this nostalgic style, which combines Frutiger's realism with Aero's optimism, generating a futuristic and an organic look all at the same time. 🫧🫧🫧🫧🫧🫧🫧🫧🫧🫧🫧🫧🫧🫧🫧🫧🫧🫧🫧🫧🫧🫧🫧🫧🫧🫧🫧🫧🫧🫧🫧
