como se ocupaba esta wea (and the effect of the old internet nostalgia)

hola a todos! desde que tenia 16 años que no ocupo este sitio, sin embargo, volvi a encontrarlo debido a la creciente tendencia de "volver a los 2000s" y dejar de usar redes sociales masivas y tecnologia actual. es tan potente esta wea que hasta he pensado en comprarme un telefono flip-phone/ dumb-phone porque ya no soporto el perder tiempo y nivel de atención en el ejercicio del "scroll". me parece curioso que yo a los 16 años ya añoraba este tipo de tecnologia/ sitios web ya que como dice en la pagina, antes usaba el myspace de windows93, que al final cerro por la filtración de contraseñas que ocurrio (denso). en este sentido, volvi a entrar a esta pagina y creo que cada vez se hace mas preente el dejar de lado la hiperconectividad en la que vivimos, quizas me cueste un poco al tener que ocupar tecnologias para la música (estudio música y soy músico) pero más allá de eso, no necesitamos tener mas de 6 redes sociales en las que se cumple el mismo fin. Espero no ser la única con este sentimiento y que seamos valientes y nos pongamos en contra de la corriente, corriente que roba nuestros datos, atención, autoestima, y a fin de cuentas, la vida.

Hi everyone! I haven't used this site since I was 16, but I rediscovered it because of the growing trend of "going back to the 2000s" and abandoning social media and current technology. This thing is so powerful that I've even considered buying a flip phone/dumb phone because I can't stand wasting time and attention scrolling anymore. It's funny that I was already longing for this kind of technology/website at 16, since, as the page says, I used to use MySpace on Windows 93, which eventually shut down due to the password leak (crazy). In this sense, I came back to this page and I think it's becoming increasingly important to move away from the hyperconnectivity we live in. Perhaps it's a little difficult for me since I have to use technology for music (I study music and I'm a musician), but beyond that, we don't need to have more than six social media accounts that all serve the same purpose. I hope I'm not the only one with this feeling and that we're brave enough to go against the grain—a grain that steals our data, attention, self-esteem, and ultimately, our lives.
