🌲 MC Forever World #1: The Beginnings

Starting a Minecraft "Forever World"

So! I thought I'd make a vanilla Forever World! Why though?

I want:
🌲 a space to be creative, have fun building and making lore
🌲 a space to be silly and mindlessly mine when i feel like it

And a forever world seemed like a good way to make memories as well! Which is also why I decided to document it ^w^

The World Set-Up

I have the difficulty on normal, a random seed, no experiments/data packs, and on the latest version since I'll be updating it along. Overall pretty standard.

The only non-standard thing I do is turn on "Keep Inventory After Death". I know some people see that as cheating, but i genuinely don't give a fuck.
Raging after loosing hours of play or not daring to do anything in fear of losing hours of play is not my vibe

I also use Mizuno & its Modern Mizuno addon as texture packs! I just think they make things really cozy <3

Note: Started the world in 1.21.11! Will update it as the game gets update ^w^

8th December 2025

I spawned on the side of a hill/cliff near a river, and immediately saw where my usual starter Hobbit Hole would go. There was also a tree with a bee nest in the way, so I cut down the tree, and once I was decorating the hobbit hole, relocated the bees to a hive (I got stung but it was worth it, it looks so much cuter now).

My first day was spent building and decorating the starter hobbit hole after spending a few hours playing what i like to call "Mine til I die". It's pretty self explanatory: i don't have food yet, so i go caving and get resources until I either starve or get killed. Both time my run got ended by a skeleton. If I had a nickel…

9th December 2025

The next (real life) day, I decided to go see what was up with the small cave above my house. turns out, there was a zombie spawner room! I lighted it up and looted, I'll come back to make it an XP farm later.

I also spotted a cool place in the opposite cliff side to build a big storage room, so I made a staircase and bridge to get there as well as made the outside look pretty. I also spread moss to hide torches under as lighting.
