We ALL love y2k aesthetic and wish we could go back in time to 2005 (even tho most of yall wouldn't survive a day if you did lmao) so here you go- how to dress to look like you came straight from 2000s:
-Juicy tracksuits: you can not be an iconic 00s baby if you don't own one.
first of all- they're just so pretty. And nothing screams y2k more than them. Every 00s girlie needs them
-Lipgloss>lipstick: the ultimate rule.
Sure, lipsticks are cool. but not as much as much. Make lipgloss your whole personality, trust me, it's worth it.
-side bangs, blonde highlights, and why they matter.
Your hair represents your personality and are like 90% of your looks so they gotta be pretty. And there's nothing prettier than long/medium, straight or wavy hair with side bangs and headlights. Middle part also will do but side bangs will always be #1 for a 00s baddie.
-Your outfit says everything.
Don't lie to yourself by saying looks doesn't matter. They does. Get that juicy tracksuit, low rise flared jeans and baby pink tank top. Oversize clothes might be comfy, but never as iconic.
-Make up: one of the most important parts.Β
Take off that latina makeup, you ain't fooling anyone. Remember: light lips with lipgloss on them and black waterline will do better. Don't get your eyebrows thick: thin ones are 1000 times better. And take that spiders off your lashes, normal mascara will do it.
-Accessories: the final touch that will make everything better.
Remember baby: Being overdressed is actually a thing, but not always a bad one. You can't let your jewelery make you look like a clown- but it doesn't mean you can't wear it. put on that hair clips, belts, bracelets and necklaces. You just gotta be careful with the colours and make them match- otherwise, they'll ruin your fit completly.

If I were to be magically transported back to the year 2005, I'd be one of the few who would manage to survive since I pretty much live like it's still 2005 anyways. XD

I mean that many people over romantise 2000s. Unfortunately if you weren't white and privileged you were hated on from every side and most people rn are very pressed on bullying and slurs (which isn't bad ofc being racist, homophobic etc isnt something to be proud of) but it was taken as ''normal'' back then and many people arent aware of that and think 00s are just pink, mean girls, mc blink and all
