People seem to commonly get these two mixed up for some reason and its really stupid lol. So I'm here to explain this to you like a baby.
Before I get into this there is mention of pedophiles (child predators), sa, and things like that.
Dark shippers are people who enjoy illegal ships. Some of the most popular tropes being child x adult, family x family, abuser x abused, rapist x victim, ect ect. Those like me who like dark ships enjoys the media because though it is immoral and illegal in real life, they are drawings meaning they are w/o hearts, souls, ages, and feelings. They are not real people and never will be.
Dark fiction enjoyers just enjoy the same thing as dark shippers w/o shipping the characters. Its don't have to be something like child x adult but it can just be enjoying horror movies because it is dark fiction.
Now a proshipper isnt much its just being pro ship and profiction is just being pro all fiction. so really they get hate for no reason.
My take on all this.
Yes you can have your own options about how you think darkshipprs are weird for "Romanizing" your truma but you have to realize that the word do not revolve around your truma and many darkshippers have the same truama as you. Yes you are allowed to hate darkshippers but you basically tell9ing randoms online "what about me? what about my feelings?" is stupid because who are you to me? Why shoud i care that you don't know how to scroll and or block?? Let people online do what they want was long as its not actually hurting people.
You're not doing real victims justice by calling dark shippers and darkfic enjoyers pedophiles. You are not taking their trauma seriously; you are quite literally worried abt what age people's characters are and calling them pdfs and saying the drawings are csam for it, instead of worrying abt potential and current real life victims. You're watering down pedophile and csam by compairing drawings to something people actually go through.
Also, people seem to not understand that a most pedophiles dont touch kids and the word they're actually looking for is child predator. If you want me to elaborate on that I will but you should do your research on such serious terms with heavy meanings.
(Small hot take but saying dark shippers is making a safe space for child predators is stupid because whatever fandom has children in it will attract child predators as long as there's kids.)

Actually im a real life victim and i had this happen to me for so long that i dont remember what age i started getting sa’d/groomed at but i do know it ended at 10 and im telling you as another victim to not engage in content YOU don’t want to see. If this hurts your feelings that bad stop looking at that shit and block people. Then maybe just maybe you wont be “hurt” by people getting off and just enjoying dark fiction !!

My libido has nothing to do with this??? Its just facts on how stupid you all sound when tryna call darkshippers pedophiles. Yes, fiction can and always will affect reality but if you read darkfics and actual want to out and touch/harm children you should go to a therapist because that’s not normal. I am not at all saying you don’t have the right to hate darkshippers im saying engaging with the community while hating them is straight stupidity. You guys treat darkshippers like they touched children infact you treat them like they post abt actual children when in reality we would rather die than hurt actual children. :/

If you wanna talk to an adult darkshipper then be my guest, this whole conversation was you complaining abt darkshippers not gaf abt what you think or how you feel.
