Situationship OVER!

So on Friday, I got a little too drunk and asked my situationship if we would ever be anything more. BAD IDEA!! She said no and sent me back to my dorm room very drunk and sad. We called Saturday morning, and she confirmed that it was over. I asked if we could at least stay friends, considering she is one of the coolest people I've ever met, but she said that would be difficult, implying that it's not in the cards. I'm not even sad about what we had ending, but just losing her from my life. If I could go back in time, I would take back us being anything more than friends in the first place, just so I wouldn't lose that connection. She's texting me about some "Alexxx you should hate me," and "You're too good for me." I can't hate her though, and she does deserve someone good, even if she doesn't think so. I just had such a special connection with the amazing person that she is, and now thats gone :(
