I’ve created a catalog of music on my own called Tribal Wave over the last several years, but it’s crazy to think that it has nearly been 2 decades since the group had really gotten together, kicked it and spent hours of time recording songs, not just 2 minute joints with a short verse with a catchy bridge like hook that either becomes the second verse entirely or short enough for a second verse to fit into the 2 minute product, we used to record full 3 verse songs with a sick instrument solo at the end of the songs for the love of music.
The bar is in the fucking ground good lord smfh
If not most, damn near most of the catalog that had the homies in the recent songs were projects I took on my own to at least give the old music some sort of existence, it didn’t matter though, it was appreciated by a special selective few who listened but the artists themselves fucking hated it and I didn’t blame them.
Over time the fuel started to get low, the engine began to stop working and I didn’t even want to give it the time of day to even look at it anymore.

But I am still human, and like many others I needed an outlet, so I began to connect with others to find new tools to fix the fucking engine I left alone for so long.
I connected with people on discord that costed me more than I should have during that time, but they not only helped me find new ways to write but the entire process on how I record and even how to think when writing.
It became a habit to read everything in a verse like format, even if it didn’t make sense, although it feels like a curse but it had helped me with creating what I felt was my best work.
I miss the dying breed though, time is one of tye craziest things ever.
I might have run on sentences idgaf lmao
