this doesnt apply to people who like older things or old internet just annoying idiots who act like its the end of the world.
i feel like its mostly old people saying this but newgens do 2. ik ppl are gonna be saying 20 years later that they miss 2020s and 2040s are doomed but whatever. if you cant appreicte good things you have now or about this era then just shut up and stop whining and making other people just as a depressed as you are. i understand if you hate a certain year or are unhappy with ur era bc i am2
2025 sucks! everyone has their own fav years some older ppl say they hated 2018/2022 but i loved them bc i was younger and everything has much simple for me i didnt care a bout drama or politcs
but anywayz thats all i have 2 say lol i needed to get that off my chest

Regarding what you say, I half agree with u.
We are living in a time somewhat similar to the 1970's, with economic, enviormental and human uncertainty for the world ahead. However, this is simply just a phase and will change eventually. Also people tend to think this way because we are being bombarded with negative anecdotes every day while positive news tend to be sociological trends that occur over a long (example in 1970, 60% of the world lived in extreme poverty, now its only 9%). We also need to consider that people often have a positive view of the past and yearn to recreate it (litterally spacehey).
thats what i said if u read the whole thing! i understand people saying they like the past but ppl js acting doomsworthy is not it but ye i saw someone else saying that we're kinda living in the 70s
