John Lennon

Yesterday, John Lennon died 45 years ago in New York, right in front of his house. He was shot by Mark David Chapman, right in front of his wife, Yoko Ono, who cradled him in her arms as he took his last breaths. 

He was dead before he reached the hospital.

He had two sons. His eldest,  Julian Charles Lennon, whose mother was Cynthia Powell, and Sean Ono Lennon, whose mother is Yoko Ono.

Even in death, he has millions of fans worldwide.

His memorial lies in Central Park, in New York City.
