Good morning!
Continuing from where we left off last time, those who didn't read the last entry may be a little confused, but tl;dr I had my first solo-driving adventure, and now we're at a sandwich shop I've been wanting to try. Aaannndd, action!
So after she told me all about the sandwiches in incredible detail I thanked her and ended up choosing one of her recommendations. I cannot for the life of me remember what it was called or what was on it but it sounded good so I got it with EXACT change somehow. As someone was making me my sandwich behind the counter I got to talking with the cashier and as it turns out she was the OWNER!!! And not only that, the bistro and the gelato place are ONE IN THE SAME!!! I have no idea why I never connected the two because they literally have the same Italian motifs and everything, but let me tell you, I was absolutely ecstatic. I had no idea it was a couple that owned the joint businesses, let alone a wonderful woman at the head of the operation. She was like a celebrity to me I tell you.
I explained to her in slightly longer terms than I should've just how serious I am about her gelato and How Much I Love It. I take everyone I hangout with there. If there's a group hangout and we're out and about with nothing to do I'm always like hey guys.....I know this gelato place, we should go, as a Treat. I have gone there in celebration of every milestone I've smashed through this year. Every birthday, not just my own, because it is the GOAT. They have amazing affordable prices for the most heavenly, toe curling, spine tingling, joy inducing mouth textures and flavors.
I mean this gelato place, Lamonte Gelato to be exact, is absolutely my favorite and anyone that knows me has been there at least once because I have taken them. My little sister and I once walked FOUR MILES in FLORIDA SUMMER to get two scoops. And it was infinitesimally worth it. No regrets here.
Anyway I may have word vomited a little more than I should have and ended up telling her all of the above more or less, and she almost cried. Like fanning her mascara almost. It was wonderful, I am so honored to have met her.
Unfortunately I'm out of time again today but I swear next time I return we will be leaving the sandwich shop LMAO
Much love and have a wonderful day!
