Yall js wanna beef at this point because why do you switch up EVERYTIME theres a new trend. Also I'm not pointing any fingers but THOSE black metal fans ALWAYS think they're better than everybody just because they listen to horrible quality music. Don't get me wrong, I love some black metal bands but those fans CANNOT be talking when their favorite artists have at least killed somebody or been a proud racist.
I understand disliking a band or a genre but it genuinely gets to a point. Sorry I don't listen to "Anime Girl Getting Dismembered while her Boyfriend Watches" like omg don't be an asshole final boss.. AND WHY ARE WE SWITCHING UP ON SLAM METAL??? Hello pls?? If you genuinely take slam seriously, ur anger is your own fault dawg. It's also the same with so many other genres, if you immediately think the people who listen to some specific genres are posers, then you're simply a weirdo who can't find happiness. You have no idea how many elitist tiktoker metalheads love to bully others just because they don't listen to the exact things they listen to. It's not funny or cool, and they keep wondering why they get bullied or have allegations against them when they proudly admit to listening to problematic artists or say that sleep token fans need to die. Sorry I have a diverse music taste and you can't help being a killjoy.

Metal subgenres can get pretty chaotic...I once got roasted for listening to Babymetal and deathcore.. apparently, they “aren’t metal enough.” But thats it... some people are just assholes, some are whiners. Just listen to whatever makes your head bang and dont give a fck. And honestly, if you find the right group, metalheads especially into black, death, or doom are some of the chillest people to hang out with.... (At least in my experience outside toxic TikTok and gatekeeping culture)
