GIVE ME ADVICE!!
i hear people use wigs bc they don't want to ruin their hair, but at the same time what if it looks like cheeks?
I wanna dye my hair purple..
should i do it myself or get it professionally done?.. never dyed my hair before so tell me about your experiences and what YOU would've done.

its not very hard to find a good wig that doesnt look doodoo garbage, I feel like anyone saying you need to drop 100s of dollars on a wig to make it look good doesnt actually wear them. go to a beauty supply to try some one and get an idea of how certain colors would look against your skin. idk where you live but for online retailers I like ebonyline, and taobao shops, it kinda depends on the style you want (wigs can have small variations in how they are structured because different ethnicites grow hair differently, the hairline of a chinese brand wig doesnt always look the same as the hairline of an american wig, especially if its human hair). I prefer to get the wigs I "live" in around a price range of 30$-47$. anything more than 50 really isnt worth it unless its something specific like a dcoucou wig but even then...
Omg thank you so much for the advice! I low-key wanted to try at least one wig but this helps me a lot!

if bleach (lightening the hair for a brighter colour) -> get it done professionally
if no bleach (same value or darker) -> just get box dye or developer and colour
if you want colour you will need to shower in cold water every single time if you want it to last more than 2-3 weeks
signed someone that had cherry red hair

Cheap wigs look terrible only the high end ones look really nice or real. I would dye your hair since it'll look the most natural. Just don't over do it with the dyes and pick the most organic ones.
Thanks for commenting! Do you have a rec on dyes?

Theirs so many to list. I would pick depending on your budget and needs. Research is also crucial.
