What's GOOD, I would like to start cataloging -- one by one -- the found audio that I have bought over time. Most of this will be random and absolutely undiscovered projects. But a lot will also be stuff that I just like. So let's start off with a recent CD I bought that was honestly pretty amazing.
Honestly, when I come across music like this, I almost feel like I am adopting a long lost child. Recorded in 2006, this beautiful record has a lot of emo/jam influences. It sounds absolutely beautiful. The project is up on Spotify but tops around 3 listeners a month. Either way, I really suggest to buy physical music instead because Spotify sucks ass and the gov can't take CDs and vinyl from you as easy as it could Spotify shit. On the back of the CD, it reads "Mastered in May of 2006 by Adam Ayan @ Gateway Mastering in Portland, ME" it goes on to say
"Recorded in April and May of 2006 in rooms 213 and 44 of Durgin Hall @ the university of Massachusetts @ Lowell" Finally, after this, it states: "Engineered by: Nicholas LaPenn. Produced By: Are You a Fox? and Nicholas LaPenn"
My favorite track so far is a tie between American Idol (T1) and There for the Taking (T3). But the last track, The Incredible Exploding Boy (T4) is also excellent. There is little to no information about this band online. They are on Apple Music.
However, I found an amazing live video of them (Linked here) playing in Portland Maine, you should watch and see some unbelievable talent and spark. The live version sounds just as good, if not better than the studio version. Give it a listen, it was fucking awesome.
