Notion Boards? Luvs it

I love data entry, love cataloguing and spreadsheets and planners. Love them to a near unnatural degree. Since trying to step away from Pinterest I find myself getting lost in trying to "pin board" my life on Notion instead, which I guess is more productive!

I've already created a board for all my favourite magazine snippets, makeup looks, outfit inspo and lifestyle stuff. Now to take it a small step further, and log every makeup product i own (≖⩊≖).

Oh yeah, I'm going all out, every single shadow logged by colour, pallette and state (not pictured, i added them in the captions later). I'm not living at home right now and had to do all of this from memory, so my lipsticks and face gems will need to wait. But since i don't have a crazy amount of pallettes I could google & crop all the stock images. This + a boozey frappe was the most fun I've had in ages.

now you may be thinking, why on earth would you waste a full 48 hours logging your makeup when you can just open the pallette and look inside? Oh you poor unfortunate reader, you're unfamiliar with my game.

I needed to detail every eyeshadow, not only to easily prevent duplicates, but to make a fully accurate makeup chart of my own face!makeup chart based off my face!

Behold, the fruits of my labour!

I've been told by a trusted source that my bald/earless face looks a lot like Marcus, the worm creature from VR chat. This damaged my self esteem a lot so I need everyone to be chill and nice and remember it's the face of a very sensitive fella ( ‾ ▽ ‾᷅ ;)

But this way I can plan more intricate make on the go, and be more experimental with shades I wouldn't normally use. And I get to show my makeup ideas even when i'm not feeling camera ready.

This is my usual make, or atleast what i aim for. I'm not great at drawing my droop or ageosal since my undereyes are sort of papery(?) but we all have to start somewhere.
I use the essence contour to fill my droop & their neutral pallette to highlight my undereyes. And the purple is shade misery from the Ursula collab pallette they made a while back. Pretty much all of my makeup is either essence or discontinued stuff ive been hoarding, in my defense highend makeup has been super boring lately ߹𖥦߹.
