weird glitch while logging in? or something else?

hey all of y'all! so I just had to deal with some really weird stuff a moment ago while I was trying to get in and Im just wondering: is spacehey banned in australia or something right now? 'cause that wasn't included in the act thing or whatever they put out, so why would this of all places be banned?
for context, heres what I dealt with:
-tried to log in
-got a message about it not being a thing where I live
-try again without vpn, same text( for context, I had it set to sydney, Im way over in perth(mainly using it for shows n the like atm))
-switched to a completely different country on my vpn
-logged in just fine
it's a strange thing if its just a glitch, but even stranger if it is apart of the ban, considering how tiny it is in comparison to the other social media giants
I dunno, Im just hoping its just a glitch since it has me a little bit worried 'bout just what else they got banned/planning to ban at the moment ಥ_ಥ
(not to mention, it's a day early! the ban's meant to happen on the 10th, not the 9th! so thats even weirder!)
so yeah, if you lot have a possible answer, do share cause I'm really hoping I don't have my horses in a gallop for no reason here
