my 13 y/o sister ALMOST got kicked out of our house

okay so i'm still using the my school's library computers to post this BUT i really have no one else to tell this to so this tea will either catch someone's attention or remain in the void. 

anyways so basically my sister isn't that productive when it comes to academics. and i understood that VERY well because as the eldest sister i've experienced everything ahead of them. so i can relate a lot to my sister, that's why we have a close bond. and yeah occasionally she'd tell me she'd be skipping school and sneaking out but she always told me she never went far or that their professor didn't come to class that day. no obviously i'm not tolerating her behavior. i'm inquiring valid reasons for her to have fun because the more restrctive you are the more rebelliois they'll become. TRUST ME I KNOW.

but then like 4 days ago she left the house, uniform and all. we live with our grandma at her sister-in-law's house so like she was all who could really provide for us, useless parents, but my auntie (nana's daughter, dad's sister) is kind enough to help provide for our needs.

and our grandma obviously saw her off, believing she went to school that day--as did i.

so that friday evening the rest of our siblings came to visit (complicated family situation) because they were gonna stay for the weekends. we had fun really it's always chaotic with them around and i never really took notice of my sister acting out of the ordinary.

UNTILLL we went to bed. 

i literally jolted awake at the sound of my grandma SCREAMING and shit, but i couldn't hear much because i was half-asleep. so i subconsciously checked my phone and noticed it was 3 am in the MORNING. i covered my ears obviously but i could still hear her through my earphones.

that's when i found out my sister literally TOOK A BUS with her friends AND BOYFRIEND and hung out there for the rest of the day. how did nana find out? well our (maternal) cousin, her age, had apparently told her that she was absent from school today. because naturally my grandmother messages from time to time asking about my sister's whereabouts when it was getting late.

damn it was a fucking earful alright. my grandmother kept screaming at her and saying things about her choosing boys at her age (to which she kept denying she had a bf)  and comparing her to our mom. and then suddenly nana told her to pack her things because she was gonna go back to live with our mom (aka where my siblings live) and goddddamn i was scared for her.

i couldn't like act or anything because i was STILL half-asleep but i knew damn well our brother was fearing for her as well, but with little less remorse i guess. 

so the morning came and eventually our nana told her she'll be given one last chance to get her shit together and attend her classes, as well as prioritize her grades first. i gave her a longer talk that made her more attentive to our advice and yeahhh i guess it's been fixed now? though it's still hella awkward when the three of us eat together. 

moral of the story: don't be too boy crazy, and listen to ur sister
