So peaceful now is the simple stone
That makes up the tomb of Satrisar
Nestled amongst the roses of every hue
And stature and size
So quiet is the water that flows
From the spring of the deep
In the middle of the holy garden
Of the tomb of Satrisar
How peaceful do they abide
Those who come from all around
To pray and dream amongst the lilies
That stand watch at the door
Of the tomb of Satrisar
But how unlike today
Was this ground 3000 years ago
When war was waged from dusk to dawn
And kingdoms were builded in blood and bone
In the days of Satrisar
How peaceful was her domain
Though small behind the gilded gates
But peaceful cannot stand indifferent
When evil comes knocking
At the gates of Satrisar
How valiantly how valiantly
The men of Satrisar fought
The hands that held pens and thimbles
Can still hold the sword
No less bravely than the warrior
But still the fall came
To the people of Satrisar
The streets were slick with blood
When bound they led the Queen
Tied with her own rope
To the center of the town
The holy garden of Satrisar
Covered her they did
In fresh spilt pig's blood
And mocked her before the people
For the last and most bitter defeat
Of Queen Satrisar
She died upon the moss of her garden
To the cruelest of ways
Then the victors left empty-handed
This war to them but petty play
And the tears of heaven
Fell upon the ashes of Satrisar
Those who remained rebuilt what they could
Houses, a market, a temple,
But most of all
A monument to peace
A garden for Queen Satrisar
Now come ye to her now
Take off your sandals
And wade out into the stream
Sit under the shade of the trees
That watched the death of Satrisar
Pray and thank all you believe
That now you live in peace
And remember the blood that paid
As you lay your hand on the Tomb
A proud Son of Satrisar
