 I HATE CHRISTMAS

I swear, I hate it, I hate it, I hate it!!

Not only because it's a way to make people buy things and for big companies to make a fortune, but also because of the atmosphere. I hate the Christmas atmosphere. I'm supposed to be super happy because it's the holidays and we're with family and all that, BUT I DON'T WANT TO BE WITH MY FAMILY EITHER. I love my family so much, but it's so overwhelming having so many people in my house. I don't want to sound dramatic, but they lock us in two rooms, one with the kids and one with the adults. THE KIDS' ROOM IS JUST FULL OF 20-YEAR-OLDS, MY COUSINS' COUSINS. I'M THE ONLY TEENAGER. It's super boring; they spend all their time talking about trips and what they're studying. I used to have fun, but my youngest cousin is already 21.

Besides, I hate the Christmas decorations. It reminds me of the typical perfect family with a big house, a blonde mother, a father with a beer belly and rosy cheeks, and twin children, a girl and a boy, both blonde and with perfect smiles. Which I hate, because all families need to be perfect for Christmas to give off good vibes. DAMN IT. NO. FUCK IT. NO NO NO. If I want to be angry about something that happened to me, that's my problem, AND IT BEING CHRISTMAS ISN'T GOING TO FIX IT!

I'm incredibly grateful to have my family here and not corrupted, but when Christmas approaches, it's impossible to breathe. I really love being with them, but it's overwhelming.
