The default state of mind is to believe that you're right

Do I believe that everybody should think in the same line of light as I do? No because then that would be a hug box and an echo chamber and I can't stand those two places. I have more respect for a person who is capable of defending their argument without an ad hominem attack and getting defensive than I do for a person who can't accept that people have differences of opinions. Of course, that is not to say that I don't appreciate when people agree with me. They see from my perspective. That's a different scenario all together. 

I do try my best to look at an argument from a logical standpoint. I'm not saying that I'm perfect in any way shape or form but if I can figure out the logic behind something it makes me feel better. Even if the logic is messed up at least it makes sense? I'm not saying that this is for every situation but sometimes some feelings and emotions do matter.
