How we started
Addiction Angels was created at a time where new perfection groups were looked down upon in the scene, the community was tired of a new group coming out every single day and not actually being perfection groups: they consisted of the same exact people, low effort photos, obnoxious editing, inconsistent themes, and people did not enjoy how it was just another way to water down the subculture and get popular quick.
But the creator, Jagged Jinx, was already aware of this and created Addiction Angels to change that; he wanted to create an actual perfection group with a consistent vibe, unique ideas, and true authenticity. He wanted to make this elite.
He created the group with strict rules and started following people he saw fit to join, prominently searching for scenesters who gave off a monotonous, creme de la creme vibe. Eventually, he found three people who decided to be admins: Blackbird Brutality, Sweetvampsemo, and Jetblack.
The admins hopped on board to make graphics, mood boards, ideas, aesthetics, and make the group even better. We started searching for members who fit our vibe, showcased true perfection, and were in little to preferably no groups; we needed new, unseen faces, and gave them their time to shine.
Our Group
Addiction Angels is an exclusive (to an extent!), strict, and unique perfection group; one of a kind. We set a vibe, set trends, set standards, and set a scene. We do not want to be looked up upon for how many members we have, how much PicsArt stickers we can add onto our photos, or any other cliche. We want to be looked up upon for our individuality and taste, the way we showcase true 'perfection' in our sense of attitude, atmosphere, and how we express ourselves.
We want to inspire with our daring looks, how we are set apart from the other modern perfection groups, the appeasing look of our photos we showcase, and our nostalgic MySpace energy: repackaged with a specific aura to it.
We expect to uphold a good reputation: as in our angels being completely separated from drama within the scene, being uninvolved with controversies and unproblematic in any way shape or form. None of our angels shall bully, harass, or indulge in and or promote absolutely unacceptable behavior.
