Anyone love or heard And One?

While I’m being industrial and aggrotech lover (never huge into futurepop, except Covenant), I was a sucker for And One. First time I watched the music video for Killing For Mercy - the song was really good, hell even the music video got 10 million views (!), then I watched Get You Closer music video and the song was good, however after that - I wasn’t pretty much care about And One and moved on.

Until recently, when the band got popular on TikTok - I was like “Wait… that was unexpected, how the hell this band got popular?!?!”. While I don’t like when some bands got TikTok-ified, but it’s good when young audience are getting into old bands that every father, mother, brother or any relative loved it in the past from 90s to 2000s (for example, of course, Deftones).

Then after I remembered I was binge listening to Depeche Mode in September, now I was needed to get into And One, which I listened to 2006’s Bodypop. Now, I’m finally realized that I’m no longer sucker for this band. This album was so good, like it’s dancey, dark, lush, groovy, romantic. Even blending with Synthpop and EBM, And One are like the German response to Depeche Mode, but managed to stay relevant with not changing their sound and not getting into mainstream, like DM does (no insult intended). Oh, and hell, Steve’s vocals sounded really amazing, not gonna lie.

So, I’m asking the question. Anyone love or heard this band? Also recommend me what next album by And One should I get into, after Bodypop?
