Hi everyone! Today I wanna talk about one of my biggest special interests EVER... Final Fantasy! Specifically XV, which I've been obsessed with these past few weeks :) I'm in love with this game, even if I had to research a lot of parts about the story due to me being unable to watch the Kingsglaive movie...  GRRRRRRRRRR

This blog entry will include a handful of screenshots... a lot will be pretty old and out of order, but who cares LOL :P ONTO THE DEETS!!!

Final Fantasy XV is an open-world game, with a pretty big story (even if a major part of it was separated from a movie and a few DLCS...) revolving around 4 characters: Noctis (that's you!), Prompto, Gladiolus, and Ignis  with a lot of places to explore, with a day and night cycle AND camping!! The combat is very unique, revolves around combos, Warp-Striking, and teamwork. What also makes this game even more interesting is occasional dialogue between characters as you explore multiple places! It makes the game seem a lot more lively. The game itself is very well made! The voice-acting is amazing, the graphics (even on low settings, since my laptop is evil) are amazing, and the music is very fitting :D

Prompto will take pictures automatically throughout each day, some with selfies, group poses, and other things! It's really cute :)

OH! Let's talk about more parts of the game I like!

I understand, Prompto, I UNDERSTAND :((

Prompto is probably one of my most favorite characters in this game. He's genuinely such a funny, light-hearted, and kind character and I relate to his backstory a lot! He fills me with joy and he's also a very useful character in battle too! Piercer is a really good Technique... however, I wish Prompto had more voice lines for that move instead of "hi there opening" OVER AND OVER... It gets old!!! :( I also love his love for photography, because in my previous entry I talked about that I'm in a photography class! I love taking pictures of people and scenery, it's really a great experience :D (oops! i went offtopic!)

I also LOVE the music in this game... and the fact that you can play music from other games! Mixing FFXVs music with FFXII music is certainly a great idea! I recommend it all the way! Get that MP3 Player item NOW!!!  PLAY THAT GOOD SHIT!!! 

Magic and spell-making is so different in this game, and it's VERY overpowered!! I can literally just get max energy for every element, put them all together... make it into a Quintcast (shoots 5 times)... increase the potency... and OH SHIT!! It does max damage??? The FUCK? Using these spells are extremely useful for enemies higher than your level! And if you wanna level up quickly, find some Rare Coins or Debased Banknotes and make Expericast spells for TONS of XP!! It's so fun!

Chocobos are also super fun to travel with! I love these little critters and their silly sounds, and the more you travel with them, the higher their level will be!! :D They've been a much easier option of travel, apart from the Regalia (a drivable car!? in MY final fantasy game!?), which quite literally gives you fast travel -v-
Chocobos are customizable too! You can color and name them -- I named mine "sasalele"... do you get the reference...? Please tell me you get the reference. PLEASE. AAGHHHH...!!!

One thing that's very tedious about this game is Timed Quests. I know it's totally optional to do them, but when you actually find the location of them and do the quests... it's a LOT. (...probably why they give you 100 minutes to do it.) I only did ONE quest... and that was the one with the Gigantoads and Hekatontoads... which was surprisingly easy, but I had to kill 40 OF THEM. #annoying. But if you do enough of these quests, you can get awesome rewards! Just take a look at these:

One last thing I wanna talk about is the Ascension menu! The Ascension menu is basically a skill tree, allowing you to learn new moves for your team and increasing certain stats, stuff like that :) You unlock skills with AP, which you get from leveling up, exploring, doing certain things in battle, and more! Some things can cost up to 999 AP... which is crazy. Looks like I have to do a lot of work ;_;
The results for most skills are very useful! Airstep is definitely one of those very useful things :) It lets you easily dash towards an enemy and attack it, posing an alternative to Warp-Striking!

That's actually all I have to say about this game! It's been a great experience for me, and I plan to keep playing it daily ;;^_^ Those Timed Quests won't finish themselves. I also want to play Final Fantasy XIII (and XIII-2 and XIII-3...) and see how much I like that game. I heard it was very straightforward in terms of gameplay... no side-quests or extremely free exploration, which is very sad to me, but the story seems nice! It seems quite similar to FFVII, and I've heard Lightning is similar to Cloud Strife in a way, lol.
