guys I dont know if ppl relate to this but I have been in recovery for a few months now and no matter how much I try to ignore it I keep comparing my body to others...

like for example my friend has a flat stomach AND small shoulders and ever since I started working on recovering, ive gotten new incecurities tat are not fixable for whatever reason like bro why are my shulders so broad and my upper ribs so far away??

I was so happy but now I keepthinking about going back to my old ways even tho I dont want to...

does anyone have any tips on how to work on my mindset?

Maybe you could start by reminding yourself that your old ways won't change your bone structure.
Also reading and consuming media with more diversity in body types, or researching on the kind of advantage broad shoulders would give you back when humans were still just animals, it's really fascinating!!
Beauty standards are made for this reason, to diminish people that just want to feel okay in their own skin, but it's just a manmade concept. Beauty is diverse, unique and sometimes even flawed. The traits you have are what make you different from others, what makes you unique, what makes you a human. Life goes far beyond beauty standars, specially because of how deadly they are!!
Imagine if all of us were to bend to what beauty standards say we should look like, it would be awful, just like seeing a bunch of people that look the exact same.
You could also draw!! i think artists are the best people to recognize true human beauty, that's why so many artists love to draw diverse characters.
