sunbather die show

i just got back from one of my favorite local bands ever, Sunbather Die, who just had a show at a bar. im still a little tipsy as i write this, which is kinda funny considering i only had a single-shot whisky coke in a tall glass. the bartender was pretty cool tho, i wonder if he gave me a bit extra. but anyways, the show.

i got there at 8:20-ish so they'd already been playing for a minute. i was only able to catch their last three songs, but it didn't matter to me since i've seen them a million times. they played The Sandbox and a song i didn't recognize but it was so good even if i didn't see all the set.

after they finished the last song i talked to the bassist, Dom, who i talk to a lot after their shows. i make an effort to see them at least once every month/few months. its one of my favorite parts of local music; being able to shoot the shit with the band is always my favorite part. i told him i loved the set etc. etc. and he offered me a sticker which i (of course) took.

they're playing a show next thursday but im not sure if ill be able to go because of taekwondo class. i guess we'll have to see.
