When I went to read the blog itself, it was just a bunch of "Yeah people have sick fantasies, its normal LMAO."
As someone with a parafillia of being "submissive" (I'm not going into detail, but just know it does NOT involve children or acting like a child in ANYWAY.).. That is true. To an extent...

I would also like to bring up that fictional (Drawn) CP is illegal in the US. This includes "lolicon" content, which Jackie brings up and defends in their blog.
I will quote a article on the website "Merck Manuals","Pedophilic disorder is characterized by recurring, intense sexually arousing fantasies, urges, or behavior involving children."
I want to focus on the disorder aspect of pedophilia. It is a parafillia, but NOT all parafillias are disorders. A parafillia becomes a disorder when it brings you great distress.
I don't care if shipping Cream the rabbit and Shadow the hedgehog is "coping" for you, it simply would be better for your relationships, and mental health to get actual professional help. Shipping minors with adults, no matter fictional or real, will not help you. especially online. Publicly. It could ruin your psyche, or even your IRL life. DIGITAL FOOTPRINT EXIST.
I will admit, Jackie did bring up great points in their argument. The Twitter thread they linked brought up some great points. And actually interested me. But from what I saw, it didn't include fantasies with children included. It only included "Rape fantasies" (Which is a very broad term.) and a couple others. From what I saw, none of it stated anything about children.
In simple terms, if you get any sexual gratification, and actively enjoy being gratified by children, you are a pedophile. Not all proshippers are like this, but a lot are. It also brings up the debate of "Darkshipping" and "Comshipping."
The user Jackie has also stated that the argument had nothing to do with darkshipping in a few replies, but the replies of the comment were actively talking about Darkshipping, and Jackie was entertaining it.
I would also like to say, please do not harass Jackie, and I am not saying they are a pedophile.

"fictional" or "drawn" CSAM is only always illegal if: it is hyperrealistic or meant to depict a real life person. fictional depictions are illegal or legal, depending on a country, though i dont argue about the legality of things. many things that shouldnt be legal arent and vice versa, we'd have to argue about much more and sit here forever if we just want to argue leglity. in the US, fictional depictions such as loli aren't illegal

Although I find this argument to be one of the unemployed, I agree with Cam. People are being quite civil, some are calling you slurs, I personally don’t agree with that… but being anti-censorship… just ignore it, and don’t use the slurs. But for the civil people (like Danna Scully and the blog post Cam linked,) they simply just use basic common sense instead of “twitter thread with totally real percentages and numbers.”
I do find the twitter thread you linked to be interesting and a somewhat good argument, but we don’t even know if it’s a real study or not because it’s from fucking twitter. People make shit up there all the time. That’s like citing a Wikipedia article without looking at the cited sources before using it in an argument.

there have been multiple blogs debunking every argument you have ever made. even daviecantdance used the EXACT SAME wikipedia article you used - and pointed out that while computer gen/drawn CSAM is a legal gray area in the US, where most proshippers are from - people have indeed been convicted or arrested for distributing, possessing, or viewing it. and that was coming from a guy who 1) isn't american 2) lives in a place where fictional CP is legal to view 3) doesn't give a shit about the actual proshipping/antishipping debate, only how it damages people in the way that porn or gore does.
