HELLO INTERNET. 12/5/25

whaddup spacehey. i used to have an account on here 3 years ago, but i have since left my partner from that time, completely 180d my personality, and got older. i made a new account for a fresh start, so hihihi.

i don't have much to actually blog about currently, so i think i will just use this blog as a personal public diary. expect nonsense and me complaining.

this week, i had at least 7 hours of homework per night x_x junior year is kicking my ass!!!! so much work so little free time to dilly dally. i usually try to watch a movie per day or two days but i only got through two movies the entire week. literally torture. i watched the red shoes 1948 and we're all going to the world's fair 2021.

the red shoes was fucking awesome, i was expecting it to be boring given its from the 40s and i generally gravitate towards arthouse or horror films, not dramas. the visuals were amazing and the plot was crazy. its like the mother of suspiria 1977 and the grandmother of black swan 2010. i assumed that the 15 minute ballet sequence in the middle of it would be gratuitous, but i enjoyed every moment of it. the cinematography is so atypical of the era, its more reminiscent of the 60s and early 70s than the actual 1940s. it looks like a film from the early 80s trying to emulate the 1940s as a period piece, not Actually the 1940s. much of what i took from it is that i hate men and they should have left my girl vicky aLONE. she can dance AND get married you stupid shits!!!!!! loved that cunty ballet instructor tho he was tea and needed more screen time, him and vicky shouldve had a kiki and killed lermontov and craster together.

i feel very mixed emotions for we're all going to the world's fair. like all the reviews i saw for it were negative, like it was the worst thing they'd ever seen. i thought it was pretty fire! i think that the filming style was unique, even if it was slow. it was just tension building, which they did very well. "nothing happened" that's the point!! it represents the isolation of being online from a young age and the predatory nature of online trends and those who run them. idgaf if they tried to make JLB a concerned older man, he was absolutely a creep and only made her worse. the scene with her sleeping was actually fucking terrifying and made me have to pause it and take a breath from how startled it got me. underrated gem by the creator of i saw the tv glow 2024, i wish people were less of pussies with experimental films with slow pacing. something something era of the ipad babies.

i'm watching the long walk as i type this. i watched it once already, with my best friend julian (jigglingjuggler mention go follow him). we watched a lot of movies over the past weekend, like the passenger 2023, the lighthouse 2019, the muppet christmas carol 1992, and the faculty 1998, but i'm talking about the long walk right now even though all of those movies are also peak and have fire yaoi too. i love the long walk a lot actually, i have mixed emotions about stephen king and honestly don't have much interest in reading the actual novel. the movie though is excellent. it examines a lot of american political topics, especially if the boys actually sign up for the walk or if they have to. a lot of main characters being people of color adds to the meaningfulness i think, it doesn't just center the plight of poor white people. also all of the boys are so dear to me, collie's death has made me cry twice already, its so heartbreaking. i think the movie would have been at least 1% better though if ray and peter kissed at the end. i know they were thinking it. i can smell it on the television screen from here.

i don't have much more to add because i hardly did anything but school work this week. i like ap psych, though, that's my favorite class at this point. the work is easy for me and super interesting. i actually get excited for the quizzes which is super weird and something i thought would go away as junior slump hit me by september like the train in the trolley problem. but nope! having a great time. i also had some fire sushi earlier as a reward for doing good at school all weak, i fucked that thang up it was probably terrifying. i think i'm going to see my best friend again soon, probably within the next couple weekends, which i'm super excited for. i want to watch more movies but i think the more heavy ones are more fun with him. i'm going to visit my sister tomorrow, which i'm very excited for. we're going thrifting and to get super good indian food. this weekend might actually be fun after the worst week ever.

i've run out of things to talk about. luv u whoever's reading this.

so long & goodnight, will \|°▿▿▿▿°|/
