Come and See has stuck with me so much. It's the best (anti-war) film I've ever seen. It's so traumatising and it's filled with close up shots of the characters, making you sit in their terror and despair. I'd highly recommend it. It's free on Mosfilm on Youtube.

YEAS!!! i was a very very impressionable child and there was this old show- 1000 ways to die ?? or something?? and there was this one episode where a guy got his junk sucked into a pool filter thing?? anyways he died and it was just such a gnarly concept to me. like it messed me UP lmao. im still wary of pools to this day

Films and TV shows don't really mess with my head much.
I will say though I played Call of Duty (The 2003 version) recently. The first few levels have a LOT more gunfire and bombing than any other first person shooter. It feels surreal.
Not to mention how the earlier COD games are based on real history and it said only 260/10000 soviet troops survived taking over the red square in real life.
