Consummate Expiration - Sulfuric Cautery

Holy fuck, where do i even start. this album is SO GOOD!!!! sulfuric cautery once again have proved themselves to be the greatest musicians in all of goregrind or gorenoise- and some of the best in grindcore as a whole right now aswell. 

so the latest full length is just, amazing, drums are crazy tight as usual, and the riffs are just slightly more intelligible in this one, finally letting you hear how just actually brutal these songs are. and then when it finally does slow down- holy shit.

TEETH AND VISCERA EVERYWHERE

first track on the album just instantly stabs straight through like a rusted butcher knife and a dirty needle. the second you hear their signature drum intro you know what your in for and it’s just peak gorenoise, the drums are so fucking clean, and the guitars are so fucking good, i love the slamming bits SO MUCH followed with the pinches, just so good idk

CONSUMMATE EXPIRATION

an old single from this album and the self titled track, it FUCKS SO HARD !! that intro is just so fucking groovey, and then when it actually goes into the noise it’s just as per usual and amazing, and then you get that little pinch harmonic chug riff- just so mind numblingly great. and then the extremely short breakdown before heading straight into slightly slower gorenoise is just perfect. definitely one of my favorites from this album after this being my like 3rd or 4th plsy of it 

SEVERE OSTEOGENESIS IMPERFECTA

GOD THAT INTRO RIFF !!! so fuxking gorey!! and then just the blast sections which i’m harping on just being so good- because they are just fucking amazing, and evwry single time it slows down it just gets so BRUTAL!! like those triplet kicks with the pinch harmonics just uugghggh AND THEN THAT ENDING SLAM RIFF IS SO GOOD

DETENTION CENTER FORCED HYSTERECTOMY

GOD. love a drum intro, especially with sulfuric cautery. the vocals swapping from osdm just disgusting growls into the classing pitch shifted gurgles are so good, OH MY GOD THE RIFFAGE IS SO GOOD ON THIS ONE TOO!!! and then when the drums and guitars sync up it’s so awesome, and then that slow(can’t even really call it slow😭) section with chugging is so fucking brutal before switching into speeding it up a bit is just so awesome

REPRESSED

a lot more classic grindcore sounding from this track, still brutal and gore as humanly possible. GOD THAT BREAKDOWN SECTION LIKE HOLY HAM I LOVE EVERYTHING. it’s so good and i was caught off gaurd to hear one in a sulfuric song, still loving it though !! and then everything after just back into the grindcore stuff but with the sulfuric edge to it. 

PRISTINE DISEMBOWLMENT

might just be me but the gurgles sound more bubbly to me, god just evwn more of the shit i live for. when it does get heavier it gets HEAVY.  another one of my definite favorites from this album. i love those sections of the left panned guitar before leading into this just fuckimg crazy music.

CHEMICAL SADISM

i beleive the most popular early released single for this album, with great reason though, because god does it fuck. ITS SO HEAVY AND THEN ITS CHUGGING TOO JTS JUST SO GOOD !!! i love the pinch harmonic riffs right before the chugs, GOD THAT DRUM BREAK IS SO GOOD !!!!! ughhhghhgg i just love this song so much, the vocal holds are so insane. another one of my favorites

POLYFLUOROALKYL APOCALYPSE

OH MY GOD THAT INTRO JUST SLAPS YOU IN THE FACE!! AND THEN STRAIGHT INTO THAT SICK ASS SECTION UGH. AND THEN THE DRUMS DOING GHOSTS SO FUCKING GROOVEY!!! god i love this so much. the slow(ish) sections on this one are just particularly brutal. GOD THOSE PARTS WHERE THE DRUMS PLAY ACTUAL BEATS ARE SO FUCKING GOOD!!!! THE SLAMMING SECTION URGRHRGH !!!love this song, love this album, just peak favorite track in this album easy

DEBRIDEMENT (ORCHIDECTOMY)

classic sulfuric, could’ve easily been off of chainsaws, just has a bit of the edge from this album with it getting slightly more melodic and brutal. THAT SECTION WITH THE CHUGS SO GOOD.

overall: THIS ALBUM IS JUST FUCKING PERFECT FOR ME!! STRAIGHT TEN OUT OF TEN AMAZING ALBUM SULFURIC CAUTERY ARE THE BEST BAND IN GOREGRIND RIGHT NOW NO COMPETITION.
