I learned more about how actually evil Nestle is. With the rate of their water extraction and generative AI making drinkable water.. undrinkable, well run out of drinking water before we run out of oil (which is in about 50 years).
People say they care about the environment but yet they don’t do very much to support it, especially big business. At this point it feels like an empty promise. People have the mindset of “but it’s just 1 (insert thing here)!” not realizing millions of other people have this mindset.
This is not a world I’m sure any of us want to be in but at this rate i don’t know if we can stop anything horrible from happening until it’s too late.

its insane to me how anyone and their dog can see the actual real world impact that generative AI and these data centers are causing and decide that they just dont care. its even worse since the kinds of people that dont care is usually the older generation. i live in oklahoma and the amount of people who live here and you try to tell them this they just dont believe you! and even if they decide to listen, a lot of these people think that caring about the environment is "woke"??? somehow???? im not even sure what theyre getting at. it confuses me to no end.
Not really surprised it’s Oklahoma since they rank lowest in education.
But it really sucks. People don’t understand that after water is used by A.I it’s undrinkable, even if the water system exists.
