The sea angel is a type of gastropod mollusk that belongs to the order Gymnosomata.
They live in the cold waters of the northern hemisphere, specifically in the Barents and White seas, as well as the Arctic. Adults can be found at depths of up to 500 meters, while larvae can be found up to 200 meters. Despite their beautiful and harmless appearance, they are actually predators that feed on other shellfish.
These snails have evolved to have "wings" instead of legs, which allows them to move through the water more efficiently.
