ALIEN PAPER DOLL CREATION ^_~

HELLO MY SNAILS!!

WELL.. it's been a while since i did a nice proper blog, even with HTML stuff! Maybe i'll add more color to my previous blogs.. they definitely deserve it. Okay, how's your life been? How's your mood? When you last updated it on iMood.com? I hope everything is great for you, and let's get back to blog's subject..

**MY PRECIOUS DOLLS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!**

Today's subject is my dear OC* -- uh... Oh noes. Unnamed again?! How long can this hell continue?! Didn't you promise to come up with something so i can at least call a poor critter by its name?! Eh. Shucks.

I guess today we'll go nameless again. But! I still do have what to tell about it. Welcome warmly - a Cetúsliena** captain in her "human" late 20s, she owns a biiiiiiiig tourist spaceship. She is very responsible and very passionate about her job, although her kind is not very usual to be a spaceship pilot. She is very cold-blooded (In both ways, you know?) and serious, but don't worry, she has a big warm heart inside! I promise!

Here is a little concept art of her, which was a base to create a doll. It's kind of old so.. don't mind the changes:

(Cetúsliena** -- (Cetus lat. - whale + Aliena lat. - alien) a fictional alien species made by xnijl, appearance example below)

Just a poorly colored doodle. But i can't show you more >.>

As stated in the title, the doll is made of paper. I used a very thick type of paper. Almost like a cardboard i think, but not the one they use to make card box. I think making the base is the hardest part of creating a doll. patience is the key.

You won't see the paper base i made for the critter since i didn't took a photo..lols, sorry!

Firstly, i made the head. No eyes yet.

Usually a head is attached to some sort of body, at least that's how it works for Cetúslienas.

So, i did create a body.

Now for the hardest part, connecting the body and creating a beautiful face for the Captain!

Big reveal in.. 3.. 2 ..1 !!!

I really like how she turned out, it was hard but very relaxing ^>^, missed the spirit of creating art soooo much!

I spent soooo much time creating this blog, a lot more than i expected..
