I’m a man, I’ve always been a man, but the men I’m around are nothing like me, they’re so childish, they think rape jokes, Hitler jokes are still funny, These people are gonna be seniors next year, they’re so childish, they make homophobic jokes, and are disgusting asl, they’re misogynistic, but I’m in their group, I relate with 2 of them, as they also disapprove those jokes like me, but the rest of the group is so disgusting, not to mention their music tastes, all they like is fucking khaleeji, and Arabic poems, they’re so old minded it hurts relating to them, they have the audacity to say my music is mumble slop, when they listen to poems, no beat, no rhythm, it’s not even good, and their style is so fucking ass, it’s just hoodies and sweatpants, they refuse to wear jeans, jackets, even normal shirts, cause they think it’s “gay” and I don’t even understand the correlation between style and sexuality, they make all these jokes, yet claim to be great Muslims, they’re so ironic, they say I’m too Americanized or too woke, it’s just I like being accepting, I don’t see any reason to hate, or to make fun of other people, I’m not saying I’m pure, I’m disgusting too, but these men are so disgusting they don’t even compare to me.
I’m disgusted by other men.

i swear im done w those ‘wanna be’ guys on my class cuz yesterday, as we were learning about the ww2 in history they start uplifting their arms and other bs too. im really disgusted cuz when the teacher explained to us that 57 MILLIONS of innocents were killed they started yelling “womp womp” or saying things like “ahh too bad”. i swear im done w this kiddos n just to think they are the future makes me loose faint in humanity 🙏🏼

I've seen this case many times before. I'll express my way of dealing with it by quoting an English translation of The Gita.
Those who do not accept their responsibility in the cycle of sacrifice live only for the delight of their senses; indeed their lives are in vain.
But those who rejoice in the self, who are illumined and fully satisfied in the self, for them, there is no duty.
Such self-realized souls have nothing to gain or lose either in discharging or renouncing their duties. Nor do they need to depend on other living beings to fulfill their self-interest.
Therefore, giving up attachment, perform actions as a matter of duty because by working without being attached to the fruits, one attains the Supreme.
You should also perform your duties to set an example for the good of the world. Whatever actions great persons perform, common people follow. Whatever standards they set, all the world pursues.
In simpler terms, There's indecent people everywhere. Don't worry about them, go about your own business and set an example that others will follow.
"Be the change you wish to see in the world" and all that.
What if the example is too extreme for them, they’ll just follow the wrong crowd, like a herd of sheep, I’m surrounded by indecent people, they can’t go away that easily

In this case I'd say self preservation would be a higher priority than setting an example. Don't be afraid to do the right thing even if everyone around you does otherwise.
