Look, I get that it's lowk weird messaging people on apps like this. I'm still terrified of messaging people on Tumblr half the time, but literally come on.
I feel like everyone I have EVER messaged on here is just so dry. And I'm not gonna be like, evil about it, but seriously. I genuinely wanna like, meet people and form lasting connections, and then I get hit with a "Kool". Bro.
It might just be me and all, but it feels like an uphill battle

When people come to talk to me they usually ask very bland questions and I can tell they only wanna kill time by talking to me. On the other hand... THE NOTIFICATIONS ARE ABSOLUTELY BROKEN. For example I usually keep the website open on my laptop and i have to refresh so get the new messages icon, but I also have the app on my phone and notificatiob pop up like hours late??? And by the time I respond the other person is gone

So it's not just my poor social skills lol? It kinda feels like I'm the only one asking questions/trying to make an effort and I get answers that are hard to respond to/carry conversation further
Exactlyyy, and that's half my issue like I don't mind ur messaging style but it gets to the point where I'm just gonna give up if I'm the only one putting effort into the convo

Honestly for me im just nervous so im dry sometimes but idk about others 🤷♀️
I always respect being nervous, I lowk am too when it comes to messaging, but it always gets to me when it start feeling like I'm the only one contributing to the conversation
