Myself and a friend sat together in our shared applied technology class, taking notes as the teacher put them on the whiteboard at the top of the class using a projector. As they tend to do, the boys sat next to us began to talk loudly, the teacher doing absolutely nothing about it as per the usual. Typically, I wouldn't be bothered by their indecent chatter, but this time, entirely unprompted, I hear "Yeah, I lost NNN on the third day. What's the point of doing it anyways? You don't even get a prize or anything."
This opened the floodgates for the others to chime in with similar stories, or rather, atrocities. The entire time I had to keep a straight face lest they notice that I was eavesdropping on their unnecessarily rowdy conversation.
Eventually the class ended, although I still felt rather disgusted due to how uncomfortable it had been sitting next to them as they spoke of such topics. In my humble opinion, one should at least try to halt such activities, and especially try to avoid talking about them in class with hand motions and all.
My conclusion is that the boys in my school are atrocious and should be avoided at all costs, until next time I feel like ranting.
